Upskilling Projects
The Johnston Partnership has been involved in developing/delivering Learning Advocates/Workplace Learning Advocates (WLAs) since 2004. WLAs are employees who encourage informal and formal learning at work and in their local communities.
WLAs developed into a national scheme in partnership with a London based organisation called Workbase Training. From January 2016 the Workers' Educational Association (WEA) took over the role of leading WLAs.
