Developing Workplace Learning Advocates in non-unionised workplaces - Scheme set to extend the reach of Workplace Learning Advocates. Today Workbase and The Johnston Partnership announce that their Workplace
Learning Advocates scheme is set to extend its reach into non-unionised workplaces in the English regions. This follows successful work carried out Lincolnshire, Rutland and the North West region.

The Johnston Partnership also offer their 2 hour On-line course in the northern regions.

This on-line course can be delivered in group settings (subject to funding availability) or can be completed by individuals from any computer that has internet access (free to enrol at any time).

NATIONAL SCHEME FOR WORKPLACE LEARNING ADVOCATES

Liz & Graham Johnston have joined up with a London based organisation called Workbase Training to develop a national scheme for Workplace Learning Advocates (WLAs). The development work has been funded by the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills and will enable WLAs to be trained throughout the English regions. A national website is in place - www.workplacelearningadvocates.org.uk or www.wlas.org.uk if you want to get there quicker!
